What do I sign in with?
With your Apple, Google or Discord account. No password to remember, no phone number to hand over. You need to be at least 16.
My invitation code doesn't work.
A code is eight characters, without 0, O, 1 or I to avoid confusion. It expires after 30 days: ask your friend to generate a new one from the chat details.
How do I add someone who doesn't have the app?
From a group chat: Details → Invite by link. Send the link (or say the code). They install Tizzit, sign in, and the code is already filled in.
Why can't I find someone by nickname?
On purpose: there is no user search. You can only add people you already share a chat with; everyone else comes in through an invitation link.
I'm not getting notifications.
Check that notifications are allowed for Tizzit in your phone settings, and that the chat isn't muted (bell icon in the details). A device on which you are currently reading the chat doesn't get pushes for it.
How do I delete a message?
Long-press your message → Delete. It is removed for everyone; a “message deleted” line stays in its place.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Delete my account, then confirm. It is immediate and permanent; your messages stay in the chats, without your name. If you no longer have access to the app, write to [email protected] from your account's address.
Does Tizzit work on a computer?
